Ducati’s motorcycle Blitzkrieg!
Ducati India will launch 11 motorcycles in 2022 but not all of them will be all-new products. The total count includes product variations, special editions and some all-new models. The first product to be launched after this interview will be the Panigale V2 Troy Bayliss Edition, which will go on sale in early March. This will be followed by two editions in the Scrambler family. First, up will be the Scrambler Tribute Pro in the latter part of March, followed by the Scrambler Urban Motard shortly thereafter.

Around June 2022, Ducati India will launch the Multistrada V2, which will replace the Multistrada 950 S. Ducati India will launch one more new member in the Multistrada family in the form of the Multistrada V4, which will feature multiple changes and upgrades compared to the present model. Around the same time, the company will also launch the MY 2022 Panigale V4.
The next exciting launch from Ducati India will be the Streetfighter V2, which will try to build on the success of the Streetfighter V4 launched last year. This naked version will be launched between Q2 and Q3 of this year. Shortly thereafter Ducati will launch the SP versions of the Panigale. These motorcycles will be sitting at the top of Ducati India’s lineup and will be their flagship products.
This would be followed by one of the most awaited motorcycle launches of the year with the Desert X, an all-new motorcycle and the first of its kind for Ducati globally. Chandra also spoke to us about his views on the present government policies for the superbike segment and his expectations for business this year. Naturally, expectations in Ducati India are high and the company is expecting a growth in high double-digits this year.
