Gurgaon: The city saw pleasant weather conditions on Monday, with a breeze making it feel mild chill in the morning hours. According to the weather department, a marginal rise in temperature is likely to be witnessed in the coming days. However, there is a possibility of light showers on Wednesday under the influence of western difference.
On Monday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.3 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal, from Sunday’s 12.6 degrees. The daytime temperature was recorded at 25.8 degrees Celsius, lower from Sunday’s 26.3 degrees. As per the IMD forecast, there will be mainly clear skies on Tuesday, with minimum and maximum temperatures likely to hover around 12 and 27 degrees.
“A fresh western disturbance is likely to influence the region from March 2 and bring isolated light showers over parts of Haryana. The minimum temperature is expected to rise by 2-4 degrees in the next few days but no significant changes will be witnessed in the daytime temperature,” said Manmohan Singh, director of IMD Chandigarh.
Meanwhile, the city’s air quality remained in the ‘moderate’ category for the third day in a row,.
