Gurgaon: A team of forensic experts visited Chintels Paradiso on Saturday and collected samples from Tower D, where five living rooms collapsed vertically from the sixth to the second floors.
The report of the forensic test — to be conducted in Madhuban — is crucial for deciding the fate of the case in court because it will give details about the quality of construction materials used and whether the tower had been built in keeping with the standard norms.
“The forensic team collected samples from the site and sent them to Madhuban for further examination,” police spokesperson Subhash Boken said.
On Saturday, a group of residents met Union minister Rao Inderjit Singh and police commissioner Kala Ramachandran, seeking an impartial probe and strict action against the developer. The police chief is expected to visit the society on Monday or Tuesday and interact with the residents. TNN
