Google paid a tribute to Iraqi artist Naziha Salim with a Doodle on April 23, 2022. Naziha Salim was born in Istanbul. Her father was a native of Iraq’s Mosul. Naziha Salim was one of the first women who had secured a scholarship to study abroad. Salim’s immense contribution to art had given her global recognition.
