PM Modi has arrived in Morbi to take stock of the situation after a suspension bridge over the Machchhu River in Gujarat’s Morbi collapsed on Sunday killing 135 people. Rescue operations are still ongoing. An investigation panel has also been formed to probe the incident. Ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh for kin of deceased and Rs 50,000 for the injured has been announced.
