Actress Meenakshi Seshadri used to rule millions of hearts with her stellar performance and enchanting beauty in the 80s and 90s. Known for some of the iconic roles in films like ‘Damini‘, ‘Hero’, ‘Ghayal’ among others, Meenakshi tied the knot when she was at the peak of her career and shifted to US. However, the actress is active on social media and keeps treating fans with her pictures and videos. Recently also, Meenakshi shared a picture of her flaunting her new sleek look in a short hairdo. She captioned the post as ‘New look!’ and fans showered their love on the actress. One user wrote, ‘Looking great!! I still remember the movie “Hero” परेमगरनथों के पन्नों पर !!! Beautiful lyrics’. Another one commented, ‘Sweet look! Love the hair. You’re always brilliant and beautiful!’ Another one wrore, ‘Wow mam god bless’. Other compliments were like ‘Good …suiting you well’, ‘super look madam jee’, ‘Beautiful as always’ to name some. Meenakshi’s last appearance on-screen was in 1998 in the film ‘Swami Vivekananda’. Earlier, while talking to ETimes, she opened up about moving to US and quitting acting. She said, “When I decided I wanted to get married I knew it would be hard for me to continue acting, especially when I met my husband, who lived in America. I thought about working in India with marriage in America, and whether it would work out. But I decided that I could not do both. I had to finish many of my movies after getting married and I had a lot of offers but I had to decline.” However, the veteran actress is now raring to return. She added, “During the ’80s and ’90s, I had my tryst with Bollywood’s heroine roles. Today, I’m a mature and experienced person who is open to experimentation, and trying alternate avenues of filmmaking and film production. That includes web series and digital.
