Following the arrest of the mastermind of the recent stone-pelting event in Hubli, Karnataka Revenue Minister R Ashoka on April 23 said that culprits must be taught proper lesson. “It’s good if it happens, even if they’re been arrested, they will come out in 3-4 days. Then again, they will start same. The people arrested for involvement in Hubli incident are rowdy sheeters, they were in jail. They came out and started same acts in 3-4 days, they don’t learn lesson. Those kind of people must be taught proper lesson and they must be made homeless, or else they go to jail and come back and start same things. We’ll curb such mindsets and we’ll teach them by adopting model like UP,” said the Minister.
