Cultural group ‘Vomedh’ organised a cultural extravaganza ‘PAGAH’ to celebrate International Mother Tongue Day in Jammu and Kashmir. The event aimed at sending a message to society to save the mother tongue of the Kashmiri language. Comedy and dramas were performed by both Muslims and Kashmiri Pandits which reflected bonds of brotherhood. The people of both communities showed great enthusiasm towards the mother tongue of the Kashmiri language. ‘PAGAH’ is an effort towards increasing the popularity of the Kashmiri language. This is a new project which is being launched by ‘Vomedh’.
