Kalaburagi: All government offices and government school buildings under the Kalaburagi City Corporation limits will have rainwater harvesting.
There are hundreds of government buildings including schools and colleges in Kalaburagi city which will get rain water harvesting system to charge the ground water. Former KCC commissioner Snehal Sudhakar Lokhande said that if KCC adopts the system at its buildings, public will themselves come forward to adopt it.
“So far, the rainwater harvesting systems have been installed in ten buildings and in coming days, more will be equipped. We have also chosen low lying areas to drill bore wells,” the officer added.
