In Madhya Pradesh’s Bakswaha tehsil, complaints about Patwaris taking bribe were on a spike. Following which, a farmer got upset and visited Sagar Lokyukta who caught a Patwari red-handed. Devendra Namdev, a farmer of Kusmad village said that the Patwari had asked for a bribe of Rs 3000 in lieu of improving the agricultural land after which Saurabh Vaidya, his father Ashok Kumar Vaidya, Patwari, Chachisemra were caught red handed by the Lokayukta.
