NEW DELHI: Around 25 Maoists shot dead four persons of a family, including two women, at village Maunwar in Kachar panchayat under Dumaria block in Bihar’s Gaya and hanged their bodies in a cowshed on Saturday evening, reports Alok Kumar. They also blew up the family’s mud house with dynamite.
The incident came to light on Sunday. Locals said the Maoists raided the house of Saryu Singh Bhokta around 7pm on Saturday. They shot his two sons — Satyendra Singh & Mahendra Singh — and their wives Manorama Devi and Sunita Devi, calling them police informers.
