Mercedes-AMG has revealed its latest Edition 55 models, the A 35 and CLA 35 in two different body styles. Both the cars get purely cosmetic changes with no mechanical upgrades.
The Mercedes-AMG A 35 and CLA 35 are available in two exterior colour schemes – cosmos black metallic and digital white metallic.
The A 35 and CLA 35 gets the Night Package II as standard and An AMG Night Package as optional. The Night package adds a glossy-black finish to the mirror covers, wheels, front grille, bootlid, badging and exhaust finishers. The A 35 and CLA 35 sit on 19-inch AMG alloy wheels.

Speaking of the Aerodynamics package available as standard on the A35 and CLA 35, it offers some additional features like canards over the front bumper, a front splitter and a fixed spoiler at the rear.

In terms of interior, the A 35 and CLA 35 follows a dual-tone red and black theme with the Edition 55 badge on the seats, a microfibre-finished steering wheel and floor mats. The door sills come equipped with an illuminated ‘AMG’ logo in red. This package is available as optional.
Under the hood, both the models make use of a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine churning out 302 hp power and 400 Nm torque. The engine is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

In Germany, the Edition 55 packages add €12,614 to the price of A 35 and CLA 35. The brand has yet not revealed the UK pricing, however currently the A35 is available at a price of £41,550 and the CLA 35 costs around £42,215.
