A recent teaser reveals that the SUV does look very similar to the RS concept, with a few toned down design features. The LED headlams and tail lamps appear slightly larger and the windshield is less inclined.
The SUV will have dual-tone paint options with a black roof and mirrors. Expect plastic around the wheel arches and on the lower part of the body, along with a skidplate for a tough look. The upcoming car will likely be more SUV-like than the current-generation WR-V.

The SUV could be offered with petrol, petrol-hybrid as well as diesel powertrains in the Indonesian market. Currently, the WR-V in India is offered with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that puts out 90 PS of max power. Honda will likely offer both automatic and CVT automatic options with its new SUV.
In terms of features, we expect the car to be packed with a large free-standing infotainment system with connected car tech, an electric sunroof, auto climate control, a semi-digital instrument cluster, keyless entry, push button start/stop and so on. The safety suite will likely consist of ABS, traction control, ESC, multiple airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors etc.
