Dibrugarh: The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) will provide nine advanced life-saving ambulances for emergency medical services on Thursday. These ambulances will be provided to the medical colleges of Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Silchar, Tezpur, Guwahati, Barpeta, Lakhimpur, Diphu and Tinsukia.
The ambulances will be flagged off by chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and state minister of petroleum and natural gas and labour and employment Rameswar Teli at the Assam Medical College and Hospital, Dibrugarh, on the occasion of its valedictory ceremony of platinum jubilee celebrations.
The advanced life-saving ambulances have a wide range of equipment for pre-hospital care, including transport ventilators, defibrillator, suction apparatus, nebulizer and oxygen supply.
