Hubballi: Union minister Pralhad Joshi has lashed out at opposition leader Siddaramaiah, saying his demand for banning some organisations, including RSS, shows his intellectual bankruptcy.
Joshi told reporters here on Saturday that Siddaramaiah fears losing Muslims’ votes if SDPI is banned. “That is why he is adding the name of RSS. He always indulges in appeasement politics,” he added.
Responding to hijab students staying away from II PU examination, Joshi said fundamentalist forces are misguiding them not to write exams. “Such forces are also trying to provoke youths to pelt stones. Instead of heeding them, students should work on building their future,” he suggested. tnn
