Sonu Sood has come to the rescue of another Mumbai resident, who could not afford an oxygen concentrator. Actor Nupoor Alankar, who has been working for the welfare of cine artistes, reached out to Sonu Sood, who immediately organised and got the concentrator delivered to the person’s home.

Needless to say, Nupoor’s society members were overwhelmed by the actor’s prompt action. Speaking to ETimes, Nupoor says, “It is a blessing to come across such divine souls during such trying times. Just like in the case of Savita Bajajji, the brother of Ajay Ghosh (secretary of my society’s committee) was unable to get a discharge from hospital as he couldn’t afford oxygen after paying the hospital’s fat bill. And since in Savita Bajajjis case, Sood Charity Foundation had helped, I took a chance of contacting Govind Agarwal again for the same favour. And to my surprise, the concentrator was sent instantly. One more life was saved right on time.”

Nupoor feels obliged to personally thank all of Sonu Sood’s team members who sprung into action. She adds, “I believe these are demigods hidden in the form of these souls. The team of Sood Charity Foundation is mind blowing, be it their paperwork, delivery or response, they work like magic. Govind Agarwal, Manav Jain, Vishal Ji, Dhirendra, it not about any one person, it’s the entire team. My thanks is not enough.”

In recent times, Sonu Sood has helped actors like Parveena Banu, Resham Arora, Alok Shukla and many more.
