Known for his extraordinary philanthropic and humanitarian work during the tough times of COVID-19 pandemic, actor Sonu Sood has won the title of ‘Real Hero of India’. Now, Sonu has extended his help to another resident of Mumbai, who couldn’t affort an oxygen concentrator. Actress Nupoor Alankar, who is also relentlessly working for the welfare of cine artistes, reached out to Sonu Sood to help this resident of Mumbai. Sonu then immediately got the concentrator delivered to the person’s home. In a conversation with ETimes, Nupoor said, “It is a blessing to come across such divine souls during such trying times. Just like in the case of Savita Bajajji, the brother of Ajay Ghosh (secretary of my society’s committee) was unable to get a discharge from hospital as he couldn’t afford oxygen after paying the hospital’s fat bill. And since in Savita Bajajjis case, Sood Charity Foundation had helped, I took a chance of contacting Govind Agarwal again for the same favour. And to my surprise, the concentrator was sent instantly. One more life was saved right on time.”
